North Star Cargo is seeking an experienced Pricing & Customer Service professional for our Air & Sea Import operations in Mumbai. The role focuses on competitive pricing, customer service excellence, and operational coordination to ensure smooth and profitable import shipments.
The candidate will handle pricing requests and negotiate competitive freight rates with Shipping Lines, NVOCCs, Airlines, Consolidators, and Overseas Agents. He/She will prepare timely and accurate quotations for Air & Sea Import shipments while monitoring market rates and tracking win/loss ratios. The role also involves coordinating with overseas agents, carriers, and service providers for complete shipment documentation and smooth cargo movement. The candidate will support the Sales team with pricing analysis and market intelligence and will focus on revenue optimization and cost control across all shipments.
Sales Executive
North Star Cargo is looking for a motivated and energetic Sales Executive to join our Air & Sea Import team in Mumbai or Chennai. The role is focused on generating new business, building client relationships, and achieving sales targets in the freight forwarding industry.
The candidate will be responsible for generating new business opportunities through field visits, client meetings, and references. He/She will regularly visit customers to understand their logistics and freight requirements and develop strong long-term relationships. The role involves preparing and submitting competitive freight quotations as per customer needs and coordinating with the pricing and operations team for smooth shipment execution. The Sales Executive will follow up with clients for business conversion, provide shipment updates, and ensure monthly sales targets are achieved. Additional responsibilities include maintaining proper records of customer interactions, identifying new market opportunities, and tracking competitor activities.
Customer Service Executive
North Star Cargo is seeking a proactive and customer-focused Import Customer Service Executive to join our Air & Sea Import team in Mumbai. The role is responsible for managing end-to-end customer service for import shipments while ensuring smooth coordination and high levels of client satisfaction.
The candidate will handle Air & Sea import shipments for corporate and agent accounts from origin to final delivery. He/She will coordinate with overseas agents, carriers, Customs House Agents (CHA), and internal teams for seamless shipment execution and timely updates. The role involves tracking shipments, providing regular status updates, Proof of Delivery (PODs), and delivering excellent customer support. The Customer Service Executive will ensure full compliance with customs regulations and company SOPs while monitoring billing accuracy and shipment profitability. Additional responsibilities include maintaining strong customer relationships, resolving operational issues efficiently, and contributing to process improvements.
Documentation Specialist
